Arbor Centre was established in 1985 by Rob Bodenstaff with the aim of providing  correct tree care to the people who own or have responsibility for trees; to enable mature tree transplanting options and to generally nurture a passion for trees.
Since that time, Arbor Centre has proven itself to be the most respected Arboricultural Company in Western Australia with its expertise sort after locally, nationally and internationally.

The people at Arbor Centre are trained to interpret the needs of trees and their root systems such that tree owners can confidently make informed decisions about their ongoing welfare. Our support in developing our people through Apprenticeships and Traineeships has been recognized by the West Australian government since 2004 by registering the Arbor Centre as a “Priority Access Employer” 
We ensure that we remain leaders in technology and service through continual research; staying abreast of technological developments and  employee development through formal courses of study and progressive ‘on- the- job training’.

Tree Surgery Division

A passion for properly maintaining trees was the spearhead of Rob’s ambition and from which Arbor Centre pioneered arboricultural correctness in the management of our ‘Urban Forests’ in Western Australia. We continue to provide the highest standards in managing and maintaining worthwhile trees and in safely removing those that can no longer serve with integrity.

Transplanting Division

Transplanting fully mature trees was an ambitious step to take on in the mid 80’s. None the less, Arbor Centre introduced into Western Australia, new age tree transplanting technologies combined with Arboricultural knowhow and research on numerous tree species and is now a world leader in transplanting native and exotic mature trees; having successfully transplanted some of the oldest and largest specimens in the southern hemisphere and undertaken large scale projects across Australia as well as successfully transplanting  tree species that were thought impossible to relocate. Demand for this service has made the Transplant Division the major portion of our commercial operations.

Consultancy

Is a natural flow-on that has grown beyond the bounds of the Arbor Centre capacity to service at all levels. The demand for professionalism in this area of arboriculture has resulted in the establishment of an independent entity (Arbor Logic) to service the corporate sector and legal issues with  Arbor Centre providing only client specific consultancy in tree surgery and transplanting .
