We greatly appreciate your enquiry and advise that due to the time required to assess the logistics and site specific details of transplants going into private residences (that would otherwise be undertaken by Landscape Architects, Engineers, Landscape Designers or others familiar with our operations), a minimum up front “Service Fee” will apply for all formalised domestic quotations. This currently stands at $396 (GST Inclusive). For multiple trees going into a residential property a negotiated “Service Fee” must be agreed to prior to proceeding with the quotation process.
Tree transplanting is a unique process that inherently requires the movement of cranes as well as site specific considerations and calculations on the many variables that need to be considered and the co-ordination associated with every tree. These operational assessments are also unique and require the time of applying specialist knowledge and know how to verify being able to meet the client’s expectations and the real cost of doing so.
Preliminary discussions can only provide broad brush estimates (free of charge). However, they do not bridge the gap of “site specific background information” required for a formal quotation that acknowledges the realities of the site(s). It is an imperative that all the variables are properly and professionally considered for an exercise that usually affords many thousands of dollars.
